Map Description:
Many chokes and a lot of gas. Starting base easy to protect. 2rd expansion can siege middle. Most expos/areas can be cliff dropped.

This is my first map. I have no idea on how to make maps except from my experience with playing. Please give me some advice!

the fact that this is a terran advantage map cing as tho tanks will be the main facter in all battles.and being able to attack newly all the expansions except for the islands.
and can u tell us y there is so much open space which would make expanding a nightmare to keep control of.
But hay thats my opinion srry if i sound mean but thats what i've been told to look out for.
beside that i think your map is great well down biggrin.gif .....sure u havn't made maps b4?

[sub]If your going to use that low ground, make sure the middle is very open. Tanks would easily own anything tring to run down those skinny paths. Cliffs behind the main is usally a bad idea. And besides that, the map looks pretty good. It could use more decoration of course, and the naturals seem to just be in the middle of nowhere, so fix that.[/sub]

This map would make for an interesting ground war because of its resource rich layout. The middle doesn't seem to pose much of a problem as any race can use it to their advantage.

EDIT - Played the map and the middle was the best part of the entire game! I was playing Protoss against my Terran friend, owned his units with Psionic Storms, though I'll admit that it was a up and down kind of game for the both of us. Air units and drops are a must mid to late game.

Which expansion do you think has too much space?

I'd like to hear from you guys if the middle is truly unbalanced from play because I tried to make it so that each race could cliff it (lurks, storms, tanks).

However, I'd also like to make sure that going all out air or turtling without ground units is impossible because that would make the game too boring.

Apart from the things above, there's only one thing I have a real problem with. Please note: just my opinion. I think you have TOO many minerals at each expansion, and maybe too many gas. Just my opinion.

Mains are now corners. Only expos can be cliffed. Path is a little wider. More decorations.

Make more room for the middle ramps. Right now, pretty much just like 1 tank can come in...
