i just got the xtra editor and its in my documents, i click the setup thing then click Specify StarCraft Directory. i click on that then a little menu comes up, saying to specify my directory, i clicked on Broodwar(F.) then it says that that doesnt contain a full version of broodwar. i tried clicking everything else and it still says that it doesnt contain a full version of broodwar. i dont know what to do, can anyone help?

C:\Program Files\Starcraft. is not in the menu

So you double click on C:\ then in the C drive there will be a folder called "Program Files" then in program files you go to the folder "Starcraft".

That's pretty much it, unless you installed SC somewhere else, but I doubt you did.
You don't use "F:BROODWAR" because that's your CD rom drive, and BROODWAR is the CD currently in it...
And lock the other thread?
