When we first began...
It's true--I was scared.
I wasn't all too sure
If I was quite prepared.
I knew if we started
I'd fall much too deep.
And come that day it ends
Once again I'd weep.
But now I've realized--
Finally and at last--
That all I have feared for
Were memories of the past.
I am now ready for you,
And hope you feel the same way too.

I realized this wasn't very rhythmic...

I thought it was rythmic, I sort of read it while listening to a song!
