hi first off im new to the website wink.gif second i just got back into map making not to long ago but any ways lets get to the point (ill explain this as best as i can)

Ok so any ways my bound map has 3 explosion levels that get different every time (kinda like level up bound but 3 explosions not just 1) but ya the confusing thing is when i test my map i pass the first explosion level but then on the second i have switch 2 and switch 4 going at exactly the same time cause when i bring my ling to the 2nd explosions it starts both since the map reads as im on the locations that start the switches for the seperate explosions so they go at the same time and get totally messed up and just go super fast and literraly impossible to pass.. i just dont know what im doing wrong =/

Well....if 2 different "explosion levels" are going at the same time..the waits could effect each other and cause something to go wrong.


It would help if you posted your map

Hmmm. Like greenreaper said, fi you have two levels running at the same time, the wait blocks will make eachother lag. He said show us the map because the description of the bug is too hard to understand. Post your map so we can play and see the bug. It will be much easier to help you that way.

call me a dumbass but i dont know how any websites to load my mapup so you can all play it since iv never made my own website or thought about it either that or message me on uswest im on under ha-curse right now but if you cant just give a website to load the map up sorry for all this noob talk

Use the "Load Attachment" feature at the bottom of your posting window. As long as your map is <300 KB, you should be fine.

don't stack up multiple locations like that. There is not point to it and your just waisting them. Also you will need to have a condition check what level the player is on when it advances them on to the next (use a switch). Because other wise you enter the location and trigger several triggers at the same time.'

Basicly say your starting level 5 you would do this

Conditions:
-Level 4 is set
-Force 1 bring at least one ling to end level
Actions:
-Clear Level 4
-Set Level 5
-Display text "ohh looky level 5"

um do you think you could change the triggers to do that just for level 1 and two so it dont get all spazy on me on that one level just so i can see what you did so i can do the rest my self i really lost alot of skills from quittin map making for a year : o

Ok here it is.

May I suggest the Comment Action, You can never be too organized and it dose nothing but help.

Also don't create new locations on top of the old ones like you have been doing. The locations are moveing so just use the locations for every trigger that needs something to be there.
