There's more of those. You've got Moose, High, DK and a few others that I don't know if they're still hosted or not.
Basically, Yoshi offered a small amount of space for the very respected people, but that just doesn't happen anymore because he'd have hundreds of those sites. You don't see me with my own SeN space? I think it's better to have my own site, much more freedom.

I'd say that it was offered around late 2004 or early 2005. I do know that by the time I joined, it was no longer being offered for free, but there was a paid hosting service for a while.

I think hosting on the Staredit.Net was free, but only for the special people() while the web hosting costed money and wasn't using the same domain name.
