I wanted to remake on of my maps and add something back to it from the start but i already have all these triggers saved on it and if i were to remake they would all be gone and i would have to spend hours typing them again... so..

I saw the thing on the side of starforge that says save triggers load triggers copy triggers, ect... but when i press them nothing happens so can you help?

Those were never finished, you could use X-tra for that though. Also location names are not saved.

Copying triggers is the most useless function anyways, as you have to manually edit each trigger to replace locations and strings.

If you absolutely must use this feature, StarForge doesn't support it, so use a different editor. The time saved, however, will be next to none, as it is easier to rewrite triggers from scratch than to go back 50 times to triple-check you fixed every location and string in ever trigger.

If you don't want to retype them, copy and paste each one. Or just use a different editor.

And no.

Lets just say this, starforge is a glitchy program that ruins your maps if you switch between two different editors too often. I suggest switching to X-tra editor or SCM draft, it may be a beta but it actually works better then the so called completed starforge. Or get both x-tra and SCM draft because these two programs are pretty much 100% compatible with each other and it wont ruin your map by switching between them.

...except for string recycling.

True but scm draft is a beta i'm sure they will add it soon, making starforge an obsolete glitchy system when they do.

Still the only editor for 'invalid' things like EUDs and hyperunits.

Use SCMD and normal TrigEdit. Copy it all into Textpad. Use the Find/Replace function. Paste back into new map with SCMD.
