What's your favorite anime? I think it's obvious what mine is but anyway. I'd create a poll for it but there are to many to name, wouldn't want to forget/leave out any good ones that I haven't even heard about.
I don't know if there's a thread for this already(For the most part because i'm far to lazy to look for one)so i'm making it.

The only animes I actually liked was .hack sign/dusk and Mononoke Hime, and they where <----------------------------------------> good

lets see, the animes that has my interest so far are inuyasha, naruto, trigun, and full metal alchemist. i also have the manga of naruto which is pretty cool, but can't understand a thing in japanese. the manga is way farther ahead of the anime and is showing no signs of it ending yet.

what i hate about the american versions of animes are they are always butchering everything, dubbing and translating them into english with some stuff cut out of the original.

I do not like the ones that drag on the plot over and over making it +100 episodes.
Well anyways, some of my favourite are Fullmetal Alchemist, Full Metal Panic, Black Cat and some others.
I never watch it in English because I hate the voices in it, doesn't seem right and yes they butcher everything. They are currently showing FMA on this TV channel that little kids watch so they cut out some blood scenes because the little kids might get traumatized.

yeah, i hate that do. they do some fillers in between the episodes, which have absolutely nothing affecting the plot or an outcome.

i remember back in the day where dbz and pokemon were so popular with little kids. they cut out a lot of scenes, edited the speech, and even skipped or banned a few episodes from being shown or aired just because they think it would be inappropriate for younger audiences. in the japanese version, some of the episodes of pokemon showed guns being fired and possibly other episodes they think are inappropriate and ended up being banned.
dbz is mostly of the action type show, but they still banned a few epsiodes, edited some speech, and edited some of the blood out like there isn't any different.
some of the stuff they do or edit really ruins the anime.

Ghost in the Shell.

I tried to watch Ghost in Shell, I might continue it later but it just got a bit boring. It has some good action but it is way too serious and has not many comical parts in it. It lacks the randomness of anime.

I like Samurai Champloo. i use to watch inuyasha but i got tired of that also all the other anime shows, they all get boring after awhile.

Although I rarely watch anime anymore, the ones I used to like were Cowboy Bebop and DBZ. Say what you will about DBZ, but the strong, confident main character helped me tremendously with getting over my little emo fits when I was 14 and 15, as well as inspire me to keep drawing (which I had really stopped caring about at the time). I can see DBZ's flaws clearly now, but nothing can change my fondness of it. On top of that, the manga is 100 times better than the show.

Alot of anime sucks balls. Full Metal Alchemist and Inuyasha are to anime what bands like Green Day and Fall Out Boy are to music. Ghost In The Shell and Princess Mononoke are the only full fledged anime movies I've seen, and they were both excellent. Cowboy Bebop has such high standards, though it lacks any sort of large overbearing plot, it's still very good. Neon Genesis Evangelion is a mixed bunch for me, in the beginning it shifts abck and forth between the weak cliche anime stereotypes and situations, though it grows increasingly darker. I'm watching it on the platinum DVD, higher quality, restored audio/visuals, for teh win!

Bebop FTW! DBZ... So many childhood memories man. The Sayajiin Saga was the closest to DB (DB kicks all your asses) and you would have a sense of fear for the main char.. Until the Freeza saga -_-

Actually, Full Metal Alchemist and Inuyasha (In their raw form) aren't even close to what you speak of. Cowboy Bebop has a plot you twit. Watch the WHOLE ANIME and you will understand the plot. Unless you're a thick-headed cock monkey. Neon Genesis Evangelion is a Psychology trip. Especially the last episode (My brain still hurts)

My most favorite (Sue me) is the original Gundum. Mobile Suit Gundum. It roxorz your soxorz. Anyways.

Berserk
Samuri Champloo
Ruroni Kenshin
Tenchi Muyo (f**k Universe and Tokyo. They are gay)
Fist Of The North Star
Studio Gibley/Gibly(SP) shows
Viper GTS is one kick ass Hentai wink.gif
Lupin The 3rd
DBZ
DB
And many, many, many others I have forgotten

I bought the first 2 or 3 DVDs of Neon G., and I thought it was kinda cool, but I don't really have the will to spend my money to buy them all and enjoy the way it was meant to be, but I wish I could...

After anime started re-doing everything 500 Times it kinda got old. and gay, and after it got brought to america it became a little kid thing (Unless you watch adult swim)

But, ah well. i still watch Inuyasha from time to time so....o well

What the hell are you babling about? I'm not 19 you fool. And I was stateing that Inuyasha (Along with most on Adult Swim) are Teenager shows. Cowboy Bebop, Paranoia Agent, Neon Genesis Evangelion, and Full Metal Alchemist are considered anime for college aged people.

Now again I ask you, what the hell do you have shoved up your rectum to make you freak out over something that doesn't even matter much?

I havn't been into anime lately. In fact, the most I've watched in the past five years or so is FLCL. Some of my friends are into naruto, I personally don't get what's so special about it. The only animes I do like are FLCL, Blackcat, and Cowboy Bebop. The rest I pretty much hate, mostly DBZ. Seriously, how stupid is that show? Search "DBZ in a nutshell", it seriously sums it all up.

I don't know, I can't think of anything that's worse. Maybe DBGT, but that's pretty much it. I think that the only good one of that series is DB. The rest is just screaming and some random villian that seems to be just as powerful as them, with really cheap and stupid drama and action.
