I've heard of people having this problem before, but its non-fixable

the problem is the text is written in the same color as the background, and must be selected in order to be seen pinch.gif

dude Slyence, ur problem reason is ice created by use black background colors codings
and if u use with windows XP then ice will showed text color not correctly
so u could edit by urself with reverse enginering tools, such like "resource hacker"

as like that way.... i did modify for Optimizing to korean and windows XP

here is my ice workspace screen for korean/windows XP

as u seen, that modfied ice layout is bigger and have more space for improve performance

when if i will have leisure times, i would do modify for english/windows XP

Like I said - manually hex-edit the Iscript. It's way more funny that using *shudders* user-end applications...tongue.gif

If u had been learn some other Script language(like as JavaScript or Visual Basic)
then u could make ur self without any difficulty

Actually IceCC code is very simple and easily understandable (more than learning english for me smile.gif )

But i understand u that confusing difficulty that why is maybe u had been not
learn other similar Script and language even something like HTML

i say again, when if i will have leisure times, i would do modify that ice trubles for english/windows XP

To speak honestly, i always use original ICEcc what created stuff by DI
i think DI's iceCC is an easy task and No problem and there is no many difference

If he finds IceCC confusing, then Hex-editing isn't the very best idea.....

However, IceCC isn't confusing. Give yourself 4 minutes to understand it. It's easy, really. ICE will, apart from doing what you described, also corrupt your file. Don't touch it.

Well, it took me about 3 minutes to get used to hex-editing the Iscript, so....tongue.gif

But Ojan is right - ICE is evil, don'staty away from it or a horde of deamons will appear and eat your mod.

If it is, then that should be noted in the "How do I make a MOD Faq" at the top of this forum index. Or change the title to "How do I make a corrupted MOD Faq" wink.gif.

The only purpose of my fix was to clear up the messy names like attack26 becomes attack and attack25 becomes attackwith, etc...

Report, edit, etc...Posted by Doodle77(MM) on 2006-05-01 at 17:41:01
oh ya, it changed a few longs to short x2
Report, edit, etc...Posted by nirvanajung on 2006-05-01 at 21:18:31
i know already... that changed a couple of opcodes
but i mean that ur fix version is just changed some words
as u guys know that character of opcodes is whatever.... that is not big deal to write iscript
so i said that just not difference not much
