I need a bootable linux that can fit on a CD. I have one DVD disc but I don't know if I can burn to it on this computer, so if you can, can it be less than 700 megs? If not, I can always just put it on my iPod. I would like a very decent kind of bootable linux. Thank you.

I found a linux. Knoppix. Just google it and it should show up. Make sure you get a torrent that's like 698 megs, not the 3 gig one.

And then all you do is boot from CD?

You have the cd in the tray when the computer starts and it SHOULD run as that (or give you the option to do that)
