Global Dimming: Basically, pollution in the air attracts water particles that reflect a percent of sun emissions that are supposed to reach the surface of the planet
this weakens energy from the sun that plants need and causes evaporation
Gloabl Warming: Greenhouse gases are trapped within the lower atmosphere, trapping heat as well which causes polar ice caps to melt, raising sea levels

Global dimming is supposedly fighting the effects of global warming by cooling the planet (but not enough to cancel out the warming), but at the expense of our solar energy. How should we solve this problem? (i had a crazy idea of polluting the air more so that global dimming can cancel out the warming effect)

the only way to cancel global warming is to use clean enery sources. if you polute the earth even more, the dimming effect won't manage to cancel the warming again & you will make things even worse. let's hope that scientists will come up with something. if not, then politicians will start thinking when we will have serious problems with mother nature.

Not many ideas that are possible and that the current idiotic governments of the world might consider. It probably won't be fatal, though.. We'll adapt. Or die.

The majority (like 70%) of greenhouse gasses are put into the air by volcanoes, not people.

My mistake, volcanoes are 70% of methane. Hydrocarbons and others are still man-made.

On the Discovery Channel or somewhere I heard that the Global Warming will only slightly increase skin cancer, but not enough to have a large, dramatic effect on everything.

but how about abnormal weather taht we see today ? floods all over europe. & that's cuz the medium temperature of Earth rised for a very small value. if floods are not dramatic, i dunno what is

Now only if there was global stinking since we fart and take doo doos we release methane into the air so proboly we could fart to end. So next time you gota fart say "do i really want to take the risk" or if you have to doo doo "Should I break a toilet or break an atmosphere" or belch "Should i be singing with my voice or killing with my air?"
