I found staredit.net a long time ago whe i was a begginer to map making ago, ahh ya, good times...
My friend was playing around with sprites, and I was like, what program did you use to make those? And he said scm draft, I asked where to get it and he said on google, i was searching about 50 pages -_- untill SEN caught my eye.

Its a funny story how I got the domain "staredit.net". There was no reason why. I couldn't think of a name. So I looked for Staredit.com. Registered. So was Staredit.org. For some reason, no one had claimed Staredit.net, so I got it first

I was gunna get a Domain for my site, but someone stole it, and it has nothing on it. It just Re-Directs to Ebay.
Anyways, I was like "Hmmm *Types in http://www.Stareit.com*" Noting comes up, I do a google search and it said "Did you mean Staredit.net?" And that's basically how I found it.

I got all my downloads from Shadowfortress.com (i believe its mind archons site), and he posted some guy at staredit found a way to block map hackers and he linked it too the tips n trickz archive and i liked that so i signed on to get mapmaking help.

scindex.com is a great site. They've given us 2610 Hits according to their script (the most out of all their affiliates) and given us some popularity in the community.
