Dragon Blood series(I believe that's the name)
Hitchikers' Guide series(DAMN FUNNY)
And Starcraft (tongue.gif). Wait, Starcraft is a game, not a book. So cancel that.

ShadowSnipe, you read AvP and Aliens books?

I have the following books... (Realated to AvP)

I'm gonna type up the summarys because I love them so much. happy.gif

Aliens: Earth Hive

Wilks was a space marine with a near-fatal flaw: he had a heart. Billie was a child, the only survivor of a far-flung colony outpost. Thrown together in the last hellish night of an alien invasion, Billie and Wilks helped each other get out alive.

Thirteen years later Wilks is in prison, and Billie lives in a mental institution, the nightmare memories of the massacre at Rim seared into her mind. Now the government has tapped Wilks to lead an expedition to the aliens' home planet to bring back a live alien. But the competition on Earth to develop the aliens as a new weapons system is brutal. When Wilk's team departs on their mission, a trained assassin trails them. And what follows is no less than guerrilla warfare on the aliens' planet - and alien conquest on Earth!

Aliens: Nightmare Asylum

Wilks, Billie, and Bueller were the last survivors of a devastating assault on the aliens' home planet. But their return to the solar sytem made them refugees once more, fleeing Earth and its alien infestation in a desperate attempt to stay alive. Now, in an otherwise unmanned military transport, they hurtle through space. Destination: unknown.

Little do they know that the cargo they carry with them is a legacy of death that they will ultimately have to face. Nor do they know that they heaqd toward a remote colony and military outpost. This pocket of humanity at the very edges of space is at the mercy of a general named Spears with an agenda all his own. Now Billie, Wilks, and Bueller face a new nightmare, and it is nothing they could ever have imagined: a gift of madness from an alien world, an unbalanced mind, and the experiences of a mysterious pilot and Lieutenant Ellen Ripley.

Aliens: The Female War

Lieutenant Ellen Ripley awoke from her long journey in space with a hole in her memory and an overwhelming drive to survive When she meets Wilks and Billie, two battered veterans in the war against the aliens, she realizes she's found two comrades in arms - and she's ready to take up the fight.

Only then does she discover the devastating secret that lurks behind her long sleep. When she, Wilks, and Billie prepare to meet the aliens head-on to turn a powerful alien queen against her spawn in a battle intended to save Earth, that secret becomes her greatest weapon - and her greatest liability. As the fate of Earth hangs in the balance, Ripley and Billie must come to terms with what it
means to be alien... and what it means to be human.

Aliens: Alien Harvest

This time the humans are taking the offensive! Stan Myakovsky is a once-famous scientist fallen on hard times. Now he dodges spaceship repo men and dreams of the marketability of his cybernetic ant. Then a woman named Julie Lish walks into his life. She is beautiful, mysterious, and totally amoral. She is also skilled in the arts of thievery and Oriental self-defense. What's more, she has a plan so outrageous there might be one chance in a million to pull it off.

Together Stan and Julie become the most unlikely pair of pirates in the universe. With a hijacked spaceship and a crew of hardcase misfits, they're searching for the ultimate pot of gold at the end of a bloody intergalactic rainbow: royal jelly from an alien hive. The only problem is that the fortune lies on the universes's most godforsaken planet/ And once they get their hands on it, they'll have to fight their way past the aliens to get off the planet alive.

^This one has ought to be my favorite of all the ones I've read, I absoluty love the ending.

Aliens versus Predator: Prey

Machiko Noguchi accepted the assignment of supervising the ranching colony on Ryushi as a challenge. Little did she know that not only would she have to run the colony, she'd have to dfend it with her life!

First the carcass of a spiderlike alien is discovered. Then a rancher's family is massacred. Finally a creature unlike any ever seen before is brought to the colony medical center, near death. It soons become clear that not one but two strains of alien life have landed near the settlement of Prosperity Wells. One kind - beetle black with shells as hard as steel - have been spawned as the prey in a deadly hunt. The other kind - upright like humans but infinitely stronger and just as smart - are the Predators. Between them are the human colonists, unarmed and vulnerable. With the entire colony at risk, Machiko Noguchi must choose between death and survival - and may find her greatest ally in a Predator ready to kill her...

Aliens versus Predator: Hunter's Planet

The best time of Machiko Naguchi's life came in the wake of the Ryushi colony massacre. It was then that she abandoned her human heritage and ran with the Predators as a dedicated Hunter. But it was only two years before she returned to live with humanity and work for the Chigusa Corporation.

Livermore Evanston is an ambitious developer who has built the ultimate hunter's paradise: a world just beyond the reach of human regulations, populated by ferocious, genetically engineered animals. But Evanston didn't plan on being patronized by the galaxy's most ruthless Predators - or the Aliens they brought along as prey. As his human customers fall victim to the unscheduled hunt, Evanston realizes that the Predators must be curbed, and there's only one woman for the job. But there's even more to this world than meets the eye, and Machiko Naguchi may only have one way out: to take complete control of the deadliest planet in known space!

Aliens versus Predator: War

Machiko Noguchi lived for the thrill of the Hunt. She ran with the Predators until her human ingenuity marked her as an outcast. Now the thrill is over. And the fierce warriors of her Hunting band are tracking her. Meanwhile, Jess, Lara, and Ellis, remnants of a bug-hunter team that wiped out an alien infestation in a Company space station, know too many secrets to be allowed to live. They are being sset up by a ruthlessly ambitious Company boss who will stop at nothing to silence them forever.

An outcast human Hunter and a trio of bug hunters. They are the most unlikely of allies. Yet on the swamp planet Bunda, they must join in a desperate fight. Company hit-squads are already moving in for the kill. Fearsome Predators are heading for a showdown with a ferocious colony of aliens. And between them stand four brave warriors in an all-out war between the galaxy's most savage life-forms - a war nothing human can survive.

I've read a handful of Predator books too, but I don't want to type those summarys up... ugh...

This is a little offtopic..
I am kinda jealous at you americans since you
can actually buy Blizzard books. If i want one, i have
to order it trough the internet. It gets very expensive
that way... I am a "Blizzard game story freak" and i'd
love to read:
"Speed of Darknes"
"Shadow of the Xel'Naga"
"Lord of the Clans"
and of course
"Day of the Dragon"

...But since i live in sweden, it'll cost me a fortune just
to order one of them.. That sucks sad.gif

But hey, I still got the SC and BW manual to read from
:freak: <-- oh there were no such icon..
Yoshi, make one! smile.gif
