"Now is then.
Now is then.
Now is then.
Now is then.
Now is then."

You could literally do that forever. How can you actually isolate the present? As soon as you do it becomes the past. If you think about it, the present is an abstract thought of a thought. It's like we made up the past, present, and future; but the past and future we know are there. We can visualize them. We can see how our grades will turn out if we skip every class, they will be in the crapz. We can see why are grades are in the crapz, because we skipped ever class. But the present... every time you try to visualize it, it becomes the past. It technically doesn't exsist... blink.gif

OR, try to wrap your head around this one.
We can try to visualize the present in the future! We can try to isolate an exact point in time in which will arise, becoming the present at one point, but as soon as we realize it, it becomes past... scared.gif
I dont even know how to explain what I'm thinking anymore...

time is an abstract concept based on solar activity. to better understand our own existance, we created somthing to keep record of the variable of 'when'

present is a state of being. it's the transsion from future to past.

No.

"Time" is a creation by man to explain the daily evolution of the Universe.

That's because they present RARELY referes to a single second. The present would be like a day. So I can isolate this present day in my mind, as can I this present week.

You just assume that the present is the very planck time that it happens at.

In that case, he is, in which case, there really is no present, except for the exact moment, and once you start thinking about it, that specific moment is already passed.

i think everything that is to come will be history in some time & the rest is history allready. nothing in between. the word "now" can be twisted from fery small time till very long periods of time. "now" was made up just to make it easy to understand.

How is this lite discussion? It seems more nullish. You're basically exagerating something as a joke. When we say the present we mean now, not now by the millisecond. Like that day, or that month, or that year. Don't take it so litterally.

Thank you for exemplifying my point by repeating my statement.
