Every time I download a mac editor ( emerald, starfire)I follow the installation instruction perfectly but When I open Staredit, there is a problem.
With Emerald:
-when I open the Emerald application it either says the SEMPQ file is corrupted of it starts bouncing in the Dock and then immediately disappears.
With Starfire:
-A sign comes up in staredit and says there is a problem with " arr/images.dat". I tried using the idea of taking the patch out from the app itself and putting it in my Starcraft folder, but then there was no visible change at all.
Can some staredit maccie pro please give me a hand?

Using SC Emerald is not advised, as it's buggy and at this point rather dated.
There's a StarFire 'fix' in the DLDB:

That's the "Starfire Fix "in the DB. just taking the patch out. it doesn't work.
EDIT: Do no other Mac people using Starfire have this problem?
