Didn't quite understand it...

I think it's supposed ti crash in-game or something.
Is it that you can't create the game at-all or you can create it and in the game lobby the game crashes...

Make sure you don't have jibirsh 1337 in the forces, name and stuff. I don't think
SC can handle them all, some may crash...i think...

The text will not crash starcraft. If starcraft doesn't reconize a character it will normaly display a question mark in its place.

What sprite are you using from what folder? Are you absoultly sure it is the sprite?

"An Error Occurred" when hosting a game has nothing to do with the map. You can host a corrupted map... Errors occur on hosting for certain unbalanced reasons on BattleNet, for the same reasons sometime you see a blank list for games to join if you were just in a laggy game.

It also gives you an error "unable to distribute map" if you're running mods when you try to host (it just checks your version when you sign on bnet, I think)

You cant distrube maps with certain illegal characters.

Try putting it to a normal name (temporarly as a test) like "mymap.scx".

Alternately, the map could be corrupted. Check if it works in single player.

The name might be too long, also. I've run into that problem.

Supposing that's the problem, it will say that the file is invalid because the name is too long, Noz.
"meant to be put on structure walls"
Erm? What sprites are you talking about exactly?
Attach the map, and I'll look at it. I've had some problems with this before, I might be able to heklp lol

Will it in Battle.net? Even though you're not selecting the map the same way as if you played it single-player? I'd check, but I'm a lazy butthead.

Um, Noz, I've had the too long filename problem before on Battle.net, that's how I know...

Screwed> Can you plaese be specific about which error message you see? If you see "an error occurred while creating the game" it is not the map. However, if it is one of these other messages it could be the map that is the problem.
