Be able to live on the moon, underwater, mars etc...?
Ps.
Iv been thinking about underwater

I think they already have an underwater hotel, I just forgot what it's called. The more new technology that is discovered the more likely it is.
What kind of lame question is that? Just wrote this to spam, and get more minerals eh?
You realise that this post is spam, Kellimus?
Living underwater is extremely difficult. First of all, there is lack of oxygen. You're underwater with no air surrounding you. Secondly, you have a crapload of pressure over whatever is surrounding the human filled area (If it's really deep). It would also be hard to transport food and materials.
i think maybe in like the year 2030 or some time around that, we would probably be able to do all sorts of things. Maybe even have flying money :-) lolzzz
The cost to power the facilities needed for people to live in such places will ultimately fall on the average joe. The amount of energy needed to support one person underwater for a year would be many many times the energy needed for a person on land. Therefor, the costs of electricity and the like would go up. Since people who would want to live underwater (or in similar conditions) could afford to pay the higher bills, the average consumer would suffer the most because of it.
Underwater - yes thats a huge possibility, but not in the next 30 years (more like 50)
Moon - I doubt we will ever
live on the moon, if anything we might go there on trips
(most likely people in a later time, not the people of 1900-2100)
Mars - same as above

1. NASA already has technology made for this, it somehow sorts the oxygen out of the h2O (water)
2. ever heard of bridges?
they would most likely have a type of bridge holding up the cities to keep them from having too much pressure

More like negative 5 years.
I agree, moon bases are pointless.
Mars has a much greater shot at being killed by people. All we need to do is pollute it a bit and plant some trees.
Electrolysis wasn't developed by NASA. And I think we all know what H[sub]2[/sub]O is.
No one would build a CITY underwater, maybe a house. But not a city.
YEah to create oxygen from H2O they use 2 electrodes and on one side (neg or positive cant remember) theres oxygen and on the other hydrogen is created.
Mars's temperature is as high as -12 degrees celsius, and as low as -70.
Therefore, no water, due to it all being frozen. But if you did, you'd need to keep the water from getting too cold (unless you like tall frosty glasses of ice).
Plus you'd need to stay warm.
Mars has a bit less gravitational pull than the Earth, but not like the moon.
It would be indeed posible to have life on Mars, though funding would be quite the problem.
But if humanity can't find any more places to stuff it's ever-increasing population, Mars might be a posibility.
What would be more economical, underwater, or space...
well, underwater is just not a good idea
they need to invent floating spheres that are able to stableize some how and just float in the ocean. connect them to be ale to run electricty to them and for water, use filters that turn ocean water into fresh water

If you're willing to leave in less stable conditions underwater such as more occurances of tremors which lead to tidal waves, that it could work. Assuming that build on stable ground and that you don't build too far below sea level because the pressure would kill you.

That would cost a LOT of money. Billions and billions of dollars would be spent on a form of support. I'd like to see something hold that much weight, too.
They are making an underwated shopping mall with the artificial land they created, but it is not water exposed, just a sealed case underwater.
I don't think it will be possible to live under water of live on the moon. Humans are just not equiped to live underwater, even if we somehow manage to make a non bulky and does not need to reload oxygen device, it will still be impossible. Everything will be wet and you cannot do anything. There is also the pressure to consider if you live deep in the ocean.
If you have any doubts that we can colozine the moon, read the book "The Millennial Project"

Further to the idea of supporting underwater habitats, surely a better idea would be to have like a support scaffold from which you could hang spherical habitats on massive chains. The water would take most of their weight, and you could hang several on a chain.
The spheres would be split horizontally so that there would be two 'floors' inside.
Of course there would be problems with getting people out of the habitats again... There would have to be an airlock.

I think the moon would be a better possiblity for solving overly large population. It is closer after all.

How would we live on the moon? People can probably only live there until oxygen tanks runs out and then they have nowhere else to go.
Hmmm... If we ever did colonize outside of the planet, the colonies would become their own. They would eventually distance themselves away from the Earth culture and start their own, and then we'll have even bigger wars. Star... wars you could even say. But, for that shiet to even start to happen it would take a long ass time. So, beyond my lifetime. I don't let it bother me too much.

A bridge down to the bottom where the underwater base is you mean?
I think it could some way be possible, I don't have anything to say to back this up with, but that's what I think.
I think that we will be able to live one the moon, soon as a matter a fact. I subscribed to the Popular Science magazine about a year ago and one of the main items was that they were building a space hotel! Yes I know this hotel has a couple years before it comes out, but the fact that to go to this place you have to fly into outerspace, not the cheapest thing in the world. As the sub topic it said the 5 billion star hotel. Does anyone else know anything about this hotel in outerspace?
I have also heard about a building they are thinking about builind on the moon! Some type of space station on the moon
