So some how I got a virus yesterday and after attempting to get help from other places nothing has been working. I'm planning to reinstall windows later today before anythign gets out of control but right now what's REALLY FRIGGIN ANNOYING is the stupid alert errors at the bottom part of my screen. Yeah guys thanks for isntalling 3 programs automatically that can't be deleted or opened, and thanks for telling me I have a virus every few freaking seconds. This is what the alerts look like:

Anyway to delete those things? Or disable them?

EDIT: That's retarded, staredit edited my saved image so it says annoyingasfreak instead of annoyingasfuck.
It's too bad annoying as freak doesn't exsist. Ok go to this URL:

It appears to be SpyFalcon. You don't have a virus, just an annoying piece of adware. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SpyFalcon It may be another variant of SpySheriff other than SpyFalcon.

Any suggestions of getting rid of it? Because if I can't find a way in the next 6 hours I'm reinstalling windows :/

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spysheriff has links telling how to remove SpySherrif and it's variants. Try to find out which one you have before trying to remove it.

Start -> Run -> services.msc

Disable the crappy Windows Security Center - it blows anyway. Just be warned - if you open it, the service will enable itself again.

Moose, it's not Windows Security Center, they're fake warnings made by a spyware program.

That doesn't make the Security Center any less crappy. tongue.gif

Download these programs:
AVG Free edition http://free.grisoft.com/doc/1
Spybot: Search and Destroy http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/
Lavasoft Adaware http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/
HijackThis http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/

Then, boot windows into safe mode, and run Spybot and Adaware. If they don't suceed in removing Spyfalcon, then AVG free might, although its primarily anitvirus. Finally, if its still there, run hijackthis, and either post your logfile, or research any suspect processes you see in your logfile.
Oh, and you can terminate the spyfalcon processes in task manager, heres a list of them:
atmclk.exe, dcomcfg.exe, dfrgsrv.exe, mscornet.exe, mssearchnet.exe, nvctrl.exe, spyfalcon.exe

A really great online virus scanner is Trend Micro online scanner It requires internet explorer, so if you have firefox, here is a Java version

Also, the link in my signature detects and removes spyfalcon. As well as a ton of other crap.

If you know what the exe files are and want them deleted (but can't due to auto start up), get a program that deletes them on boot.

Well thanks for the suggestions guys but they didn't work. However I thought that maybe I can just make a new user on my computer, then delete the old one. So far it's working ok I just forgot to save all my bookmarks!!!
