Ok this little topic is for me to ask questions to other people who use GIMP frequently.
First Question:
After you make a path with the smart scissors, how do i copy the picture inside the path?
Everytime i come up with another question for the noob inside me I will ask.

Layers make it so you can edit multiple things.

I personally just look at photoshop tutorials sometimes but I havent found out everything GIMP can do yet so just go to like www.chaosgfx.com or something and get tut's

If you're going to be using Photoshop tutorials, many of them seem to make use of various layer effects GIMP does not have. Solution: Download this plugin, and paste the extracted file into your [GIMP Folder]\share\gimp\[Version (probably 2.0)]\scripts folder.
