I'd like to see the offending post (and perhaps the whole thread for context) redisplayed under the form whilst reporting a post to a moderator.

Copy paste it if you forgot the text & delete it before reporting.

Open the report link in a new window.

I understand and can do those things, and it's not really much of an issue - but I think it'd still be much more useful to have it on the same page, just as it is for adding replies. Of course, it's a matter of convenience, not of necessity. I don't imagine it would be too hard to code, if a similar thing is already in place for replying to posts - but otherwise, perhaps something for v5? Certainly I can't see any disadvantage if it can be done relatively easily.
