Here's a replay of two korean SC progamers duking it out in a game that tests their micro skills. They start off with only a set number of units and must all the way till death.
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-3...5124517&pl=trueI thought this video was hilarious, especially when you hear them koreans talking and yelling when units get attacked and such.
MA, I learned a while ago that SeN generally doesn't respond much to melee stuff, especially when they don't know who BoxeR is.
But that was pretty cool to see them play a friendly match like that.
That picture is blurry as heck.. hard to see anything.
Is it me, or does their micro suck. Honestly, I must have some of the craptiest micro but it looked so much better than that =\
It thought they would have more than one match but I ended up watching 6 minutes of just that...it was still ok though.
That terrain guy SUCKED. He should have sieged behind the mines. Nothing could have happened to him then.
Who are those people? And is SC really on Korean TV?
I don't think that event was a serious event, it was mainly for entertainment or something. I just found it really funny when those guys were like "EEEEHHH!! AH!!!! AAAAAHHHH!!" everytime they were attacking/killing
. If it was serious, nobody would be talking.
they r saying that they put mines and dragoons r following the vultures and the korean guy is pointing and the guy with orange hair is saying HOP OFF MY SCREEN
and the players werent yelling, the game host was
This game was definately for entertainment. If you search 'msl' in Google Video and watch a serious game, their faces are really serious and their gameplay is very very good. In South Korea, they have professional gaming leagues where first place gets as much as $40,000. There are also teams and sponsors and a lot more! And for those who don't know, Boxer is the most famous pro gamer in Korea for his strategy, micro, and awesomeness versus Zerg players.
Korean Starcraft gamers can make nine-figure (won) salaries through televised tournament play.
