Staredit Network

Staredit Network -> UMS Assistance -> Open Door Trigger.

Can anyone help me with this?

My new map Grenade Toss, has doors to other rooms. Is there a trigger that lets you open doors in gameplay, if there is, I can't find it. pinch.gif

To open doors, it's either Enable Doodad State or Disable Doodad state... I can't remeber which one it is...

Yea, thats right DT

- Disables Opens
- Enables Closes
- Toggle Opens//Closes All time.

lol give ya e exaczt trigger : current player brings "at least or exactly" "unit name" to "door location" = disable to open , enable to close and toggle to switch whatgever it is , then you can put preserve trig depending on how you want it.

This is how I remember it:

Disable: disables the door's usefullness, it's not a door.

Enable: Enables it to be a door...

First make sure you selecting the correct door.

The gray doors are Upper doors
The doors with gears are lower doors.
Doors orriented like " / " are Left Doors
Doors orriented like " \ " are Right Doors

Enable will close the door while Disable will open it.
Also when you select the door you MUST open it for ALL PLAYERS (unless it isn't a doodad door)

If its a door from X-tra editor then you just have the players for the player who owns the door.

You can do that but there isn't a reason to. Just do it for all players and you will save yourself alot of hassel.
