Psi, is it real?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Demaris on 2006-05-24 at 00:53:26

I'm pretty sure pounds per square inch is real.

What's special about that picture?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Pyro-Fire on 2006-05-24 at 01:04:43

I don't see anything, I don't know what this is about either, so I'm probably not looking for the right thing anyway? And why is the picture in black and white, it looks relatively new -_-

So you want me to tell if something is real based off a page that clearly states it isn't intended to prove anything?

I believe in PSI because Starcraft told me to.

Human minds can't go 'that' far. It's physically impossible. If you were to of taken chemistry and physics, you would know this kind of stuff is impossible. Your mind is your mind, and it cannot modify ANYTHING externally.

Definately special effects.

OH, I SEE IT!

The guy has light coming from his hands...or.. he's holding a flashlight.

Master Roshi must have taught him how to harness his Ki in order to use the Kamehameha wave technique.

i know what he's talking about.

being able to focas your enegry into a condensed ball.

i've i can say that is definalty is real. i've seen it done. my friend is like a pro with the minds powers. he made one the size of a marble.

i witnessed it, so i belive it. rockon.gif

The picture is in black and white yet it gives off a yellowish glow and has some blue places on it.
So it's a badly done speical effect.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Toothfariy on 2006-05-24 at 16:11:47
you can't see it with a normal camra. it has to be dark in order to do it. very dark. and it doesn't emit much light so, it was most likely a night vision camra. i could be wrong, i mean for all we know, that pic uses special effects
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Merrell on 2006-05-24 at 16:43:04
Toothfairy.. that's a complete lie, or your friend was tricking you. It's impossible. It's just another 'fairy tale.' Newtons laws state that for every action there is an opposite equal reaction. For example; playing billiards/pool, hitting the cuestick off of a ball: The stick is moving with a force, it stops in contact of the ball and delivers the force to it. I've read a stupid education science magazine that we're forced to read in Physics, and it talks about X-men and their powers. The guy that can shoot lasers out of his eyes is throughily explained of why he couldn't have those powers. The shots of laser beams would shoot him back at a thousand miles per hour if it were real.

So, what would be the action of the reaction of a glowing light, physically? There isn't one, so it's a complete lie.

That's a really bad point. What's the physical reaction of a light being turned on? The room gets brighter maybe?

Even so it would've be able to pick up colors then.

BEHOLD! The almighty greek letter!
Water potential exsists.
Pounds per square inch exsists.
Some sort of weird mind trick? no.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Merrell on 2006-05-24 at 17:00:53
Well Gold, that IS what I was actually saying. There just isn't anything your mind can do outside of the body. Something ELSE can provide that 'glowing ball', but not a human mind.

That is very clearly a flashlight.

The only thing I see is someone holding a flashlight with messed up hair, a picture in the background.

I think that the oerson in the picture has some type of disorder that makes him look really odd and I think he could use some help!

I was a bit lazy, but hey, I can do the same thing!

I could have spent more time on the light, and achieved the same affect, but I can still make something that looks reasonably the same in 3 minutes.

Now that we know the picture is fake, I wanna know what your shirt says.

On topic: Using your mind for anything other than thinking is impossible. PSI is as likely as us being able to morph into a blob or a peanut..

My shirt is a picture of a duck duck-taped to a wall.

look idk how it's possible but gold was right about the room getting brighter. i can gaurentee you its no trick. and if it was, he must be the next houdini. you dont belive it cause you have never seen it and physics says its impossible but, i have witnessed it, witch is understandable.

and some magical way, the room got hotter as his ball got bigger.

true but, this light is very faint. very, in a pitchblack room, the light would be like a 5-second-to-dead flashlight light. it's very faint. with the night vision, it shows the balls color. witch would normally be bright in daylight.

I believe in Psi-Energy but not in the way shown in that pic. This also goes along with my Vampire beliefs aswell. You see, from my perspective Vampires come in 2 types: Sang (Blood) and Psi (Energy). Psi, in my opinion, is like auras and our own energy that we have/use/give off in our auras. It cannot be 'seen' persay but many claim to be able to view auras when in a meditative or otherwise concentrated state. My belief is that Psi energy is there, but it cannot interact with physical matter as per my beliefs it is on a diffrent plain then the physical one on which we exist with all our items/objects/ect. These are parallel plains and cannot be crossed. However a determined and trained mind has the 'ability' to focus or disipate this energy in a given area on the corresponding place between the plains. Psi Vampires, usually gifted with empathy, can feed of this energy instead of blood.

I wish to elaborate more but i have to go.
