Geez, there's lotsa problems w/ my computers lately. Okay. Here;s the situatioN:
I have 2 computers side by side. I use a router for internet. THis computer's internet works fine, while the other one doesn't.
The cable is plugged in fine and everything, but whenever i try and access the internet, it says "The page cannot be displayed". When I plug the cable out of the router, it says "network cable is unplugged" or osmething like that, so it SHOULD be working fine, but it isn't.
What kind of router do you have? If it is a linksys, then go to their website and then you can dl a program which automatically configures your router for you.
Get a new network cable. If you can't afford one, then I'd call you poor, but anyway, keep on trying.
haha, that's all? I have an extra one for PS2, but their internet service sucks, so I'll use that one.
I reformatted my old PC and now when I try to install some software to configure the router stuff on it, it doesn't detect the router. But it did before.
