According to his cumulative warn logs, "severe action" should be taken in the event of more flaming.

http://www.staredit.net/index.php?showtopic=30629&st=0

Everyone else received equal share in warns here, so this is apparently the last straw for Kellimus.

I have never supported his return, but I call everyone to offer opinions here.

No entries or alterations have yet been made to his warn log.

This really wasn't his fault.

If anything it's deathknight to blame; he started the whole thing first:

I love how nuclearrabbit and his f***buddies troll these forums, and the way that isolatedpurity is so gullible as to let them back in.

This was a flame, which probably made kellimus mad

So?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by MillenniumArmy on 2006-05-28 at 01:36:38
So yes Kellimus is guilty and probably deserving of punishment. But not as guilty as DK.

What to do with him? I dunno.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by DT_Battlekruser on 2006-05-28 at 01:37:55
He got a warn level up, just like everyone else.

Wrong. Flaming is compared individually, not how it came to be.

Besides, if you really want to get technical, it was Kellimus' return that sparked Deathknight's hatred. ;P

Kellimus has SIX verbal warnings already. Most people are lucky they get one before a warn increase these days. Off with his head! But... I guess we have to wait for him to screw up again.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by MillenniumArmy on 2006-05-28 at 01:55:51
Yea, Kellimus shouldn't have gotten drawn into the flaming with DK and should've just reported in the first place. Do whatever the hell u want with him.

But honestly, DK's bad attitude (aka flaming) in that thread has made me sick to the stomach. Even I would have trouble containing myself if he was referring to me. Ohwell

ADDITION:
I was also unsure about the decision of having Kellimus Coming back. But after getting to know him better, he's really not that bad.
But I'll quote what I said in Captain's name and shame thread:
QUOTE
Kellimus is really a good person, or at least he's trying to be, as someone said earlier. The problem is is that, his reputation still followed him and thus, people are still just provoking kellimus. It's heated arguments which unveal his ugly side.
But still, no matter where he goes, eventually his ugly side will always be poked. So whether to ban him or not, I dunno.

DK is one of many people on this site that still think lowly of Kellimus and thus, really test Kellimus' temper.

Question for you: Is that Kellimus' or Deathknight's fault for his bad attitude at times?

Being "provoked" is not an excuse if you flame. He always had the option of not posting and simply reporting; there was nothing that told him he had to post.

If deathknight is mad that Kellimus was let back in, then he can just simply say that he didn't think that Kellimus and his buddies should've been given another chance without flaming. Even if he said this nicely, Kellimus would still probably 99% likely flame back and THEN we can totally blame kellimus not only for flaming, but for starting the whole thing (which would then probably be worthy of suspension or banning). But no, Deathknight instead had to say this:
QUOTE
I love how nuclearrabbit and his f***buddies troll these forums, and the way that isolatedpurity is so gullible as to let them back in.

Which was flaming. Now making both DK, Kellimus, and everyone else guilty for flaming.

Whose fault? Dunno. But whose fault for poor anger containment? DK's. Actually, also Kellimus' fault for not containing himself from flaming back as well.

Exactly, so I sent kellimus a PM telling him about it.

Everyone's. Kellimus uniquely maxes out his warn.

What's the point of that thread? Bleh, IP is never on.

We need to do something, now.

Didn't we already? Isn't Kellimus suspended now because of his 100% warn?

Unless you're talking about the other guilty people; but I guess the primary target for this thread is kelli

If you read my first post, no formal action has yet been taken.

He isn't suspended.

Oh, so then he didn't get a warn level up yet. I thought you warned him afterwards tongue.gif

so do it now. I'm for warning him, even if it's suspension. He shouldn't get away with flaming.

As for banning him period, I don't know.

Why not? He's more trouble than he's worth.

I don't care how many support him staying, I don't see why he should stay after all the crap we've had to put up with. He's flamed more than anyone else. He's lied to administrators. He provokes other members.

"He" in that sentence is Deathknight.

The purpose of this topic is to devise a fitting punishment.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Mini Moose 2707 on 2006-05-28 at 23:28:20
Well, he hits 100% with this... factoring in the six verbal warns, I'd set a seven day suspension and a warn reset as a minimum.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by DT_Battlekruser on 2006-05-29 at 00:56:37
Then do it. You're the boss. wink.gif
