Sorry guys, I deleted the Hinder OSMAP newspost. Because I was misinformed about something, thus making my suggestion useless (and thus stupid to the eyes of the pro-OSMAP people.)
OSMAP does NOT restore Switch and Location names. For the longest time I thought it did, because I tried the OSMAP on many maps and they all still had their stuff in it. But that's because when they opened their maps with the map protectors, they didn't compress them. So when you compress your maps, your location and switch names are screwed over for good. Kenoli was right.
So here's my advice: Before protecting your map, ALWAYS compress it.

So, if the person opens the map, they have to still look through oodles of triggers, and work if they want to steal a map...
If you haven't noticed, I am against OSMAP. So, this is one way to hinder the program...

Don't be sorry about anything, you're doing a great job on trying to find new ways to help people. It happens, you get excited about finding out something and you want to tell everyone.

Yea, so compression is something you basically HAVE to do now. But I believe Uberation does it automatically.
But actually, what you could do is compress it, don't protect it yet, save as another name, and then edit this newly saved map so that all the switches have blank names (not default names) and maybe the same with locations (that is if you are willing to do that tedious work.) Then you can open it up with Uberation and choose not to compress it and then just protect it. This way, when OSMAP is used on your protected map, your map will display blank switch names and locations rather than default names. This makes it LITERALLY impossible to read.
I was wondering if LW or Mind Archon or someone else could make a seperate program dedicated to making all your switches and locations have blank names?

Yea I know
But does uberation have the option of not compressing a map?
