I probably wont do anything with this idea but if you only edit some of the grps when it turns will it be like changin shape n crap? With that being said can u edit the grps all differnt colors so when u turn around n stuff it looks like a rainbow?

1. I dunno what you mean by this, but if my guess is right, then the answers yes

What do you mean by following the palate? like u cant go blue to red to yellow to orange ect by turning around n crap?

Yes, but you can only use colours used by SC.

Let's say my pallete is composed of three colors red, green, blue
and just those 3 colors but now i modified a unit so it has yellow color, since my pallete has no yellow color just Red, green and blue it will not read it and it will go to a weird color from my pallete.
it's the same thing with starcraft, if you color something with a color that it's not on the pallete it will not appear on sc, in effect it will go to weird colors and in some cases crash i think...

How do u find out what pallate the unit has tho to paint each direction without crashing?

Actually, it will always appear in starcraft so long as you use the 8 bit color setting or lower,
but will change colors if it doesn't follow the pallete...

Also, anything higher then that will always crash if you use a color past the first 256 on the pallet you're using
