My personal favorite is the ghost
Ghost, Ghost, Ghost, Ghost!
I just like the idea of medium-power, accurate, slow-firing rifles.
Don't ask why.
I also like the idea of some Covert Ops dude.
And of Lockdowns.
And of cloak.
And of being psychic.
Tanks obviously own. (That is if you back them up up with.. Rine, Bat, GHost, Medic, Vulture.

I voted null because some of the units are good for different reasons.
I like the ghost because he's cool.
I like the siege tank because it is practical.
I like the marine because it is a workhorse unit.
So umm who voted that didn't post?
Vultures..
Vults>all Protoss
Zerg>Vults but if you get lucky and a mine is able to hit them, its' worth it

Cheese I would like to see you play melee..
Cheeze it's not a challenge I would just like to see someone who plays massing vultures.
darn..i like challenges. no one would mass vults, but they are extremely cost effective, thats why they are the best units

Well I like the fact that the don't require gas and only require 75 minerals and if used properly they can take out a zlot but otherwise they suck
Mines > any protoss ground unit
Vultures = 3 Mines = Good

Obviously the Ghost. They got great unit sounds, lockdowns, nukes, and theyre the main units in Snipers.

dude, if you had read the stragety guide that came with my copy of sc, you would know what a reaver takes out a vulture in 2 hits, so two reavers would be able to take out a good 10 vultures b4 they bite the dust,Also, a vulture comes with three mines and ONLY 3 mines, after that they are just useless, in the guide it says they are only good for taking out lvl 1 units, such as marines,lings, and half zealots. apparantly, a vulture is countered by a dragoon, a dragoon can take out up to 3 b4 it dies,also, ure Mega super cost great unit.... only costs 25 more than a marine..... u dun know much except that a vulture is fast XD.
edit:u are incredibly wrong XD, a spider mine is not good for any protoss unit except a dragoon and zealot.besides that the other units take at least 3 mines b4 dieing because of thier heavy armor, the spider mines are for zerg and only zerg.
jet that 25 extra if u got the mine upgrade could kill like 10 marines

Vultures are ideal for eco-rapes on protoss players, and defending vs zealot rushes.
my def favorite is ghosts I love nuke it owns so much stuff. You can use a few nukes on a base then send in some vults/tanks/gols to clean up the remains.
Not ten marines nerdy, if you send more than 5 consious marines they kill the mines b4 it gets to them, rendering that 75 mins useless. (it takes 4 marine shots but the fifth marine is for good luck XD)
but unless you have a detector the mine will most likely get to the marines before the marines can react and who's going to use marines to take out mines late in the game?
hey genius... the mine pops up at a lvl 3 range and crawls over to the unit, Thats WAAAYY too much time for the marine to attack, And who said anything about using marines to do it? hell any unit can do it, cept firebat.
Mines are pretty fast and you would still have the vulture to back it up but I suppose I should reduce the number of rines it could take out to about 4
3 at the most, since attacks are made in lines, unless ure having fun playing Squad attack like a noob XD. GO GO GO! XD
And no, ude have no units to back it up, or it would get in the range of the explosions.... i'de love to see u play melee.
I suck at melee but it could take out at minimum 4 because mines would take out 3 minimum and then the vulture could take 1 or 2 out itself
