Yes, that's right. Summer is upon us and I believe the SEN Mod team needs to put something out. I'm thinking that the ion cannon would not take more than 3 days to finish, but only if everyone decided to make it an important priority. We'd have to go to 1.13e, but that's no real loss, is it?
So, what does everyone say...isn't it time we do something? It's time to show that we can produce, and not just seem to sit here doing very little. Even though I've got a lot of things going on, I'm still very dedicated to this, and want to make some good mods. Whadaya say, shouldn't we be getting stuff done?
I'm sure a project lead could come in and pull us together to finish the cannon...I just know it.

I think everything needed for the Ion cannon has been finished, except the exe editing and compiling it into a MPQ
I think the main problem is, we have communication problems so everyone thinks they're done and should just wait
I think what we should do is start a real mod, after all, the team will never get stronger if we're making boring stuff and the people are too lazy to put in the effort to actually start
my sugguestion for fixing the problem: rebel and start a real mod which we could actually finish,
if it does work, then it helps us out alot, if it doesn't, then we've lost nothing, there's nothing to lose from starting one,
except for possibly being kicked out of a inactive modding team which isn't accomplishing anything

I know you did, almost everything else is finished units.dat, weapons.dat, stat_txt.tbl, and your icons
the only things I can think of that's left is the exe editing, iscript editing, and the simple task of putting them into a mpq

Well, if someone can get the iscript done, I can do the Memgraft really quick. If someone would put everything together, get someone to do the iscript, and post that in an mpq, I could get everything finalized while doing the exe editing... Seeing as how everything needs to be running properly for the exe editing to work, that'd be my suggestion.

I would offer to make the iscript myself, but first I'd need everyone to send me their grps they made, and I'd need permission (from whoevers in charge of the SEN Modding Team)

Why would you need permission? i did not ask for anything when doing it..and anyways all the GRPs i made are in here, i think i erased them from my computer but meh, everything i did i've posted it

I believe the structure of the team may take a back step while we finish this. If I had the time(remember, I'm making Firegraft still), I'd do all of it just so we could have it done. I'm sure DTBK nor the project leads would mind if we just went ahead and finished this. DTBK should even have put everything together, iirc, so it shouldn't be too hard to find.... And if they come in and really put the team back into a working order, so much the better.

Nope, we need a graphics member to fix up yalls mistakes on the icons, and compile them with RetroGRP
somehow or another the graphics team messed up, and I can't compile any of the icons

I guess I forgot about the Ion charging frames, the graphics team needs to hurry up and finish it so I can edit it into the Iscript, and continue our work

I've done 90% of all the graphics you have, i feel like im doing eveything graphic related, well...it's not a problem not until you say comments like "where is the graphics team" "graphics is not on a coffee break", as some off you know i have been grounded and have like tons of school stuff coming up. im not on summer vacations as you are, however i'll try to find sometime to finish what you want the graphics team to do because others don't seem to be doing it.

Actually, he's doing me a favor and suppling us a 17 frame Ion Cannon. I was going to wait until he finished to tell you guys, but I guess since you brought it up...I should tell you. I guess I got sick and tired of us not doing anything. If you want me to, I can ask him to add a charging animation, but I'll need to know really quick....

off topic(a bit...): See, asking can be just as good as a bribe, even if this is a one-time thing. Although, partially in return, I'm making a program to rename frames after a 3d animator renders them...making his work a bit easier.

I have been rather inactive on SEN itself, but that's only because the other forums were chock full.
