Also, try listening to some good old classic rock. Don't dismiss rock as crap just because some modern punk bands ruin its name. The truly good stuff dates back from the 60s-80s era.

Yeah, just cuz the musics not from the 90s doesnt mean you shouldnt listen to them. Theres some good stuff that came from that 80s and early. Should also try some european stuff, and expand into other genres of music.

No, I meant European, as in stuff from that area. British music is only a part of it, but theres also Celtic, German, Russian, etc. Yeah, they might not be as well known, but there are some good stuff if one really looks.
