im a photoshop noob... how do u change a .psd (photoshop drawing) file into jpeg or gif format? I checked under the save as box thing, only psd option was available

File -> Save As -> In the dropdown box, select the file type.

I think thats what he meant when he said box thing, lol!
After the file when you save it, just type in .jpg after it. Ex. (name).jpg
This works for me, when it doesnt give you the choice for JPEG, just type it in this should work. Why would you want it as a JPEG and not a .psd?
