Enlighten me.
It's just a rank, based on the amount of cumulative posts you have.
You're asking this in the wrong forum.
Ok, with that question answered, I would like to ask another one. I dont know if this is the right forum for it but,
How do u make an animated avatar? (for example a looping scene from a show)
You have to make it a certain file i believe...but which type of file i dont remember.
if you get 5000 posts your green bar fills up all the way
Animated avatars are gif files.
Thx i dled the gif animator. Now, can anyone tell me how to take scenes from a show and make it a frame? Like, can you use animations from sites like youtube?
You need to open it in Adobe Imageready. It will convert it to a gif file i think.
huh...? how do u open ; specific example: a youtube.com video onto photoshop? o.O or, little slides of it.
ADDITION:
sorry im noob and i wanna make a particulat looping avatar badly >_<
i wanna MAKE one...
You take the screen shots and u put them in order in either Gif Microsoft Animator or Animation Pro ( comes with Paint Shop Pro 6< ) and then make the animation and save.
I kno, ur gonna go "WTF NOOB" when i ask this but please tell me how to screenshot youtube videos
If you are using Windows then press prt scr and then open paint or some image editing software and press ctrl+v. This is to take screen shots of your whole screen. alt+prt scr takes the screen shot of the selected thing.
Ok, thanks! LAST QUESTION lol. How do you make the avatars fluid like ur watching the show? It's not like i can take a snapshot of every millisecond of the video...

Of course you cant using that half assed method. Look i already told you. Download Adobe Photoshop with Imageready and just open the video in imageready.
PM me if your not willing to pay 650$ for Photoshop but still want to have it.
lol, he helped me get it. If you want I can help too! lol but DEAD's got it all covered!
I already have imageready and photoshop...
ADDITION:
Ok, so how do I save a youtube video on the computer? lol...
YouTube has the movies in SWF format, so you will probably have to find a flash to avi convertor, unless imageready can open up a flash video.
Look at the source code. Find the <embed> things and find the video url. Then copy and paste it in your address bar.
Now, how do i look at the source code. I am as dense as they come
On FireFox
Go to the view dropdown menu -> Page Source
Ok, i found the source place. Now what the heck am i exactly looking for...? o.O
I see a BUNCH of text in the notepad...
