Alright, I'm trying to record some DVD footage for school tomorrow, and I'm having a problem. To record video, Hardware acceleration has to be off, but to play videos, it has to be on. I'm using "Screen Video Recorder" to record, but also have CamStudio and I have InterActual video player and Interview WinDVD. Can anyone help?
And I put this there because I need help fast, and this is the most viewed forum (as far as I'm concerned)...
What's the problem... You didn't really tell us what the problem was other than you need the acceleration to run this and that. That's what happens when you do things at the last minute kow. I told you the problem, I can't record unless its OFF, and I can't play the video unless its ON. Are there any other programs that I can use?
But don't you just record then play it? Or am I missing something...
It has to be playing to be recording
1) Record the video while the accellerator is off then play it on
OR
2) Go to CR@P BUY (yes not best buy) and get an old fashion film recorder to film...
OR
3) Go to the menu, and select turn of ACL, then record. When you are almost finnished, quickly change it to ACL On. (It worked for my cusin
)
OK, you people don't seem to understand the problem. I am trying to record a DVD ON MY COMPUTER with a program ON MY COMPUTER. There is no camera involved. To play, it MUST be on, or it will stop. To record, it MUST be off, or it will appear black.
I don't know if this turns hardware acceleration off:
http://www.camstudio.org/But it seems to be able to record videos of video.

There's no camera involved. Let's get that across.
