Is anyone else using hamachi to run your own private server???
if so do you know how to connect to it through starcraft??
The LAN(UDP) feature Starcraft uses.
You will only be able to connect to people that are logged on to your network.
Hamachi is a program used to create a LAN over the internet, aka a virtual LAN. There are other, better private servers, but they don't work the same way.
well does anyone have a hamachi network that i can connect to?
It's best if you and your friend just make a network since people don't normally use Hamachi to play SC. I mean, it won't be like battle.net where you can just find a game, you usually need some people and get on together.
Aren't third party servers in violation of the Blizzard endlicense user agreement, maknig them illegal to connect through to StarCraft? And making topics on SeN about illegal things against t3h rul3z?
Hamachi is illegal?
Create your own server; it's easy, it's free, and it takes 2 seconds.

I don't believe so, but making your own StarCraft server is.
[sub]Its not a server, it just connects you to other people to play over LAN. Its like Xbox Connect as opposed to Xbox Live.[/sub]
Private B.net emulations(servers) are illegal. If using LAN features wouldn't be illegal, Blizzard would make them.
