Wouldn't that be 9/11 2pm?, Resident Evil 4 (Who would Play Leon? For those of you who don't know. The storyline of Postal is a guy who goes to buy milk, on the way there he runs into some detestable human being cops and shoots them in the face and pisses on their bodies (You can actually do that in the game) and then he starts this whole petition thing on something (I wasn't paying attention) when he gets the milk who goes to church for some reason. When he gets out nazi middle eastern terrorists attack and you kill them with machine guns. A few "chapters" later you kill Satan.

Now imagine a movie like that with a little black kid running around.

Wow.

You forgot Halo.

The Simpsons one has potential... you just don't like the show. The postal movie could be cool if they just go WAAAY over the top with it, considering it's like the dumbest idea ever. But, they're Hollywood, they won't.

The company that worked with Peter Jackson on the Lord Of The Rings is currently working on a live-action Neon Genesis Evangelion movie. It's a strange project that probably won't live to see it's release.

The producers and/or director (though producers have say in things, espically if your peter jackson) decide who to hire for speical effects.

However, Peter Jackson's previous movies have one thing that Halo does not: Story! You can't make a good movie from nothing. LOTR was based on an incredible series of books, while Halo is just a random video game with no story. I don't know about you, but I can't stand mindless unrealistic action movies that have no plot whatsoever.

Well, I haven't played WoW that much, so

It has a story, look at king kong, what story did that have. "Uh let's be rich, by capturing a big thing and showing it to people"

Unrealistic Action Movies? It is in the FUTURE after all, no one is forcing you to watch it, but that doesn't mean it will COMPLETELY suck because you don't like the idea of those kinds of movies in general.

Using the same logic, we see that it doesn't mean it will be good just because Peter Jackson is producing it.

And King Kong was a remake of a popular classic movie, and it didn't need a half decent story to be popular. And the AMAZING! FIVE STARS! Is a matter of opinion, just like the ones we are basing our arguments on. I didn't like King Kong that much, it was a good movie, I simply didn't like it (especially because the 5 year olds sitting behind me wouldn't SHUT UP!) And really, can we judge a movie before its made? I now realize we are both at fault for making asumptions about movies we know little about. The movies in your original post could turn out amazing, for all we know. Like I said before, its all a matter of opinion.

Hmm, apparently a Far Cry movie in the works too. And worst, it's being directed by Boll. He apparently also wants the rights to a MGS movie, but, I doubt he'll get them.

Kojima's not allowing Boll to make the MGS Movie.

Hideo Kojima said he'd never let Uwe Boll do an MGS movie (Good Game) not like they'd need a director Hideo would do a fine job, he'd have to talk to real people though, and not tell other people to program movements.
