If you need to get rid of a topic that's really bad and may deserve other punishment, please use the "Set Invisible" feature, so that I don't get 9 reports of empty space.

Thank you.

This is why I just quote stuff into the warn log and delete the violation.

Well, reports don't even say who started the topic. For example, I know there was a porn topic in Null, I know it was deleted, but I have no idea who started it and what else happened.

People just say: Ban him, or warn him. They don't even mention what offense was made nor who made it. Then I gotta start reading everything to see where a possible reported post was made.

Did you ever think that all those reports came in BEFORE a moderator had looked at it?

Yes, but sometimes a link to a reported post will just link to the page and not the precise post, even if the post hasn't been looked at by a moderator.

Then it's possible that person deleted it himself. Otherwise, your method of viewing sucks. smile.gif

No, reports suck at page indexing. It will reference a post that is actually on a different page about half the time.

People probably just hit the wrong report buttton. You can check the numbers in the URL, it should point to the correct post.
