Staredit Network -> Miscellaneous -> firefox is acting gay

so im on myspace.. and im browsing thru profiles.. sometimes it takes forever to load.. (i have cable) and sometimes it just crashes.. its been happening for a week now, it happens when i click links too..
so i try to see if it'll work faster in Internet explorer and it does..

any of you experiencing this?

No. Well, the MySpace server sucks since there are millions of profiles, thus the long loading times.

Nope - I'm not having any problems with Firefox. It is Java-based though, I believe, so it is pretty slow software as a whole, especially if you have a slow computer.

There's also the possibility that Firefox has been infected with some kind of malware. You could try reinstalling it and trashing the preferences.

Opera is always a good alternative to FireFox if FireFox continues to act "gay".

Wow, I just tried the fix in that topic and it has made Firefox a hell of a lot faster. It usually takes about 6-7 seconds to load a page on SEN, and now it takes about 3 seconds.

Of course, it might overload some servers because it makes so many requests...

Well, SEN's servers have never been the most robust I've seen.

My Firefox is fine. Uninstall, grab the latest version and reinstall it.
Other than that, stop letting your Firefox near browsers of the same sex.

MySpace has been adding many things to it, like songs from artists and many other like videos and new blogs, It has some bugs they havent gotten over yet!
