To the moon six times and back wasn't enough when you suggested it. You knew that. You could've gone to Britain, Scotland, Ireland, circled the entire world if you wanted to. What stopped you? A fine sliver of a moment when I looked in your eyes, whispered a few silent words through the noise coming from around us that was caused by people who had caused a scene earlier that semester. You don't care as you smile and say 'let me teach you.' I try to give you my hand though my eyes speak of embarrassment as I hide my head in your shoulder. I've always wanted to be called a 'nuzzler,' despite how funny of a word that sounds.

Did you stop on the moon before you entered a rollercoaster called orbit that had captured my heart and caused me to step carefully and headlong all at once so that I do not fall from the wall surrounding me, but free enough to enjoy what moment you gave me? The future never worried your passive nature that spoke of daffodils and primoses growing in bowls of water and sun or moonlight. Even after the roses have died their beauty lives although I forgot to tie them with ribbon from the ceiling so they lose their color naturally but so that I can cherish the feeling I recieved that one day.

Mom?
Yes, dear?
Can I go to his house after school?
Will you stop by before you go?
I have rehearsal tonight...
It'll only be a minute.
Okay. I'll be home in a few minutes.

You watched as I dialed long distance back down to earth and never did I suspect that you would be so full of suprises and never did I suspect that although that not knowing angered me not knowing also made me excited to see you. I'd call if I could, and if I couldn't you'd call for me to see if I could come over, but usually I won the phone over before you were ever awake. Who was keeping my tab up to date on the time I spent with you and the time I told you to keep the change, the time you told me that you'd cover the tab, the time I said that's okay. The first warm moonkissed smile in your basement when I knew that you weren't holding me to hold me, but were holding me because you loved me, the first warm moonkissed gentle grab you made for my hand along Aspen Groove when you plucked a petunia and pushed back my hair to place it behind my ear.

Is it too early to say I love you?
No.
I love you.
I love you more-
I love you most!
To the moon six times and back.

But why six times to the moon and not seven or eight, what meaning does the number six have when it could be so evil in other contexts of demons and the devils, what others don't really percieve to be anything real I percieve to be more. My stargazer looks up at the same stars though his window blocks out the sunlight as well as the cold dark night but somehow I know that even though he doesn't see the moon he still dreams of it and since I dream of him, we are in some semi-abstruse way together as the starlight shines through my open window through the warm summer breeze and through my cold skin. When the night fades the moon will still be there, and maybe you will be there too.

steal this and die!! Love can do crazy things. Opinions?

Leik omg, you're in love. If you've only known the guy for like two weeks and he's already promising you a family and a house out in the country, you might wanna reevaluate the situation. tongue.gif

I like sappy stuff (omg, can you believe it?), and this was deliciously sappy.

Thanks. smile.gif And it's more like 2 and a half weeks, thx...no jk its two and a half months. But its not one of those crappy relationships that we've seen each other once a week for the entirity.

And I was in a delicisously sappy mood when I wrote it. It was a few hours before our second month dating anniversary. hehe.
