The symbol is a Fake Authentation. SCM Toolkit can do it. You know like put the blizzard icon or the ladder icon on maps you make. Although i have never really played around with it (never thought there was a reason to).
I bet Clokr_ or SI know alot more about it than I do. (if they read the garbage section.

We were experimenting with that, but its different. It takes the image file from the starcraft MPQ, from a "pointer" in the map file. Thats as far as we know.

If you look at my screenhsots in Xeno(U)'s funny stuff posts you can see my B.net is green.
Green > Blue > Red
