As some of you alraedy know the captain of France Zinedine Zidane retired from soccer this year after losing the world cup 1-1(regulation & et) 5-3 shootout to Italy.

That must suck getting red carded in your last game ever. Not to mention that leading to a loss. I predicted Italy vs Portugal for the world cup match and italy to win it all. I ot italy right ^_^ I headbutt people all the time xD

As you shoulda seen in the replay if you were watching they were talking to eachother, Zidane must have gotten pissed off enough to headbutt, I was hoping italy would win though...

Aye, people should learn how to control themselves, Zinedine Zidane is a good player who use to act good in those situations, but something must have happened there, he must have said something that really made him upset, something that really made a scar on his soul! But aye, it's his fault to be honest, he's swimming in his own crap.

The Italian player made a racial slur towards Zidane, therefore he headbutted him. The Italian player then overreacted and went flying to the crowd in order to get Zidane kicked out, and it worked.

Unfortunatly, there is(was) a lot of rivalry and hatred in the World Cup. I can expect that from the fans, although compared to fans in the USA, they're crazy. But from the athletes?

Yea, I heard that the other guy called Zidane rasicst stuff. Not only that Zidane, actually seems like a pretty calm guy, I mean look at how long he has been playing soccer. If he acted like this during all of his world cup games, he probably got kicked off the team ages ago.
And I also heard that Zidane was going to retire before the World Cup, but france just wanted him to go... And it was Zidane who even made france go to the final's. This year a lot of france players were old... They need some new players XD...
