Anybody? Isn't necessary a new version of the Memgraft for SC1.13f?

Downgrade your StarCraft version, bam, there goes the requirement.

I know... but if a make a mod... everybody who plays that mode will have to downgrade it too right?

As far as I know, the story goes like this:

DarkWizzard originally created MemGraft, and then passed it on to SI. After patch 1.13e came out, SI said that he would update MemGraft after he was certain that SCMDraft 2 was released and bug-free.

Later on, DoA updated MemGraft to 1.13e without the source code. This, along with some of the responses of the modding community, made SI angry and he deleted his copy of the source code.

When 1.13f came out, DoA was unable to update MemGraft without the source code, because there was no room for new offsets. SI said that he had a backup copy of the source stored somewhere, and he would try to retrieve it after his finals were done. (This was several months ago).

DoA is currently working coding FireGraft from scratch, this program will be able to do what MemGraft does and more, although it is still in production.

Long story short: don't expect a 1.13f MemGraft.

You missed 2 small parts.

1. Before DW passed the project onto SI, he gave a copy of the dll code, not the app, to Ojan, who still has it. Hopefully, DW will allow him to send me a copy of it, for use in developing FireGraft. I assume also that SI's copy of the source is unable to be found, since I haven't heard from him.

2. I wasn't aware at the time that SI would update Memgraft. Had I know for sure, I would have sent him the offsets instead of hex editing them in.

He purposely deleted it.

Yeah, I too recall that SI deliberately deleted the source, something about "the community being a bunch of ungrateful idiots" or something.

Yeah. It's okay though, it was his decision. And from his standpoint, I don't blame him one bit. Of course, it was a loss to have the complete source gone, but that's no reason to be angry with SI. Based on who he is, he had different priorities than the rest of us. Of course, I had some part in it by hex editing Memgraft, but I assume it was more an excuse than a reason.

Even so, the important part of the source still resides with Ojan...I can only hope DW says yes to me seeing it.

Personally, I'm pretty certain he will agree. Remember those offsets I sent to you one day? I simply asked him for them and he just (yes, just like that) gave them to me, with no restriction about giving them out. He's a sensible person, I just don't know if he still cares about the community and if he's around somewhere...

Right, I just need to find a way to talk to DW.... From what I've gathered, his main thing is he hates the people who whine. And I'm with him on that. That's why I still am patient with FG. No one that I know of has really complained about it not being done. All I've learned about both him and SI says that they don't like people who complain about what they choose to do. They and I are quite alike in that.

Well, you just have to remember how people react instinctively with this sort of thing; find a bunch of hungry ravenous monkeys and hold a vine of juicy grapes just high enough so that it's outside their reach, and you'll get similar behaviour. It's not that people mean to be rude, it's that the fruit you're holding is very, very juicy.

You're right not to tolerate that kind of thing though. When people act like ravenous monkeys, it's at your discretion to treat them as such. smile.gif

Oh, and (off-topic) I agree with nirvanajung, that girl in ZeratulPy's avatar is très hot.
