Ubisoft announced that Assassin's Creedwill also be released for PC and Xbox 360, alongside the PS3 version. (thanks: Computer Games). The game is set in 1191 AD, when the Third Crusade was tearing the Holy Land apart. Shrouded in secrecy and feared for their ruthlessness, the Assassins intend to stop the hostilities by suppressing both sides of the conflict. Take that PS3! Rumors are also circulating that other PS3 exclusive games, like Mercaneries 2: World In Flames will also be jumping platforms.

Mercaneries 2: World In Flames does nto have a publisher right now... If its Lucis Art's again which is another huge multiplatform company it will definatly be a multiplatform game... But it was pretty obvious Assains Creed was going to be a multiplatform game. However, at the moment that french site is still a rumor. AC is the biggest gaming rumor out there atm... We wont know for 100% sure until Ubisoft comes out and say it in English or something... However, im pretty darn sure its coming for 360, wont be suprised if it game out on the same date, or might even be time exlusive for the ps3.

I mean look at splinter cell a xbox exlusive jumps into ps2 around 3 days before release, its obvious they were making it for the ps2 the whole time but no words...
