Staredit Network -> Modding Assistance -> RetroGRP Problem
Report, edit, etc...Posted by TERRAINFIGHTER on 2006-07-14 at 12:26:37
This is a pretty annoying problem, RetroGRP keeps corrupting my files as I'm compiling them...

Basically, when I compiled my comsat station grp, instead of seeing one big comsat station I saw 3 mini-blurred out comsat stations...

here's the frames before compiling...
[attachmentid=20013] [attachmentid=20014]

and here's the frames after compiling, as you can see it messed up the first frame
[attachmentid=20015] [attachmentid=20016]

any way to fix this?

Like I told you before, I can't get StarDraft to work pinch.gif

so back to my question, is there any way to fix this? (it seems to only be corrupting that one file)

maybe this my thread would be answer for u

http://www.staredit.net/index.php?showtopi...ndpost&p=522152

RetroGRP is not standable so if couldn't compile even though save file as correctly
try again and again again agian.......... until successed if u use RetroGRP

btw, why did u coudn't get StarDraft SE ? what's problem? wat is reason ?
i really don't understand ur problem ? is ur problem is running problem ? or just hate that ?
just get download that and install and just use that if u have great numbers of
animations and if u want more standable process for ur grp

Looks like you need to RLE encode the first frame...I think that's what fixed that for me when I got that happening to me. I'm guessing you edited that one, no?

ADDITION: How do you edit the frame to make it RLE encoded?
