How lucky I am because I have the Linksys WRT54G router. IDK if I would do this though because I would not want to risk messing up my router or the network that I set up.

Heh, that's cool..

The closest thing I've done similar to this is to flash the wrong firmware onto my old router so it wouldn't work :0
