As I can very well see, many people are having problems with the channel for SEN, and its become apparent that I shall to make a stand here.

Many people (Including myself) feel that there is a lack of proper management in certian areas currently, The channel for one..

Certian people have too much power as I can see, and are not moral, or honourable with that power. As I could see, LegacyWeapon locked my brothers post, without even a damned real response to the problem. This is a problem worth noting. And so help me god, if Im banned for this remark, you should know where the bad management is coming from.

We, Marine and myself, feel that certian people with power are using it in unneccessary places, and how they do it. If devilisk is banned from SEN, why is he allowed in the channel? If Im not mistaken, Op SEN is owned by those responsible with the greatest power here at SEN. So, why is he alowed to run rampant, with his damned supporters? I havent seen that freak MrrLL doing anything protaining to map making..and he has power. And he uses that misplaced power to do devilisks bidding. Isnt SEN a mapping movement?

We are trying to keep this peaceful, but if you want civil war, so be it.

One last comment, if the management disregards this statement, this will show that the management must be replaced, or at least held accountable for.

As the american way goes, yet stood unchallenged, if the power is corrupt, the people can, and has the responsibillity to fix that problem.

If you have a Problem with the Management, Just Tell them, Please Just Don't Get all mad about something alot of people have nothing to do with. If its Select Individuals, Send a Complaint like i said, to an Admins.

This is a complaint to the admins, and however, it requests the support of all troubled by the situation at hand. LegacyWeapon locked Marines post, so heres my say. If this is locked, Ill do it again, and again, till my problem reaches out to the admins who MATTER to the growth, and prosperity of SEN.

I banned Dark_Marine_123 a long time ago for spamming: "[inappropiate link here] FOR FREE CD KEYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and he was unbanned, but a day or so later he decided to do it again so I pooplisted him.

Also, stop trying to blame it on me since I haven't been on SC (online) in a week.

I will blame you, because many people have had problems with you. You DID ban Marine, and that is the matter at hand. It was devilisk who told you to, and you did it. Besides, there have been far worse things, such as racist comments, but nobody banned them. Perhaps the channel needs a better moderator? Or someone who is more active, to handle problems more with morality. If admins favor people higher up, and disinclude the words of those who arent in power like they are, or friends helping friends, for petty revenge, this system is VERY corrupt.

There have been bad bans from SEN, without proper or liable cause. All personal in my eye, and it cannot be tolerated by those affected. So I stand for those people.

Darkling, Devilesk told me to look in my log and I saw he was spamming a lot of crap, so I decided to ban him. I have proof in my logs too.

Just shut up about Op SEN already, I really don't think Moose or anyone else gives a crap.

My bot is on 24/7 in that channel and if you want you can use it to help moderate the clan channel. I check it pretty often and have logs for the past 2-3 months I think. And BTW, MrrLL is a DLDB manager and although he doesn't directly make maps, he helps out at staredit.net.

It's not really that hard to stick to the rules.
There's even a topic where it ays that sen does not support the exchange of CD keys or the game itself.. and seriosuly.
No flaming, simple rule... is it that hard to follow?

I think the power is passed out to people who are friendly with the person who has the power, rather than people who can handle the power..

Either way, I've been in a clan with Devilesk, and I know what he does. If anything, he should be banned for harassing members. He is definately given too many chances. And anyway... he insults SEN all the time.. =\

I dont think that sen is doing a bad job, though I do agree that people baned from sen should be banned form the channel! WHy would they want to come in the channel if banned anyway. But Devilesk still does, and all he does is say that I am a noob. I dont like devilesk either, I think he is causing a lot of problems!

i think there something fishy about this.... give the public the information so we can all shut up about this.

I think dealing with the given problem is a better idea. It makes SEN much better.

Ok, for everyone asking why everyone banned from staredit.net isn't banned from the channel, there are several excellent reasons:
1. There are several hundred banned members, it would be far too much work to put all banned members on the bot's craplist.
2. Nobody cares.
3. They were banned from sen because they did not contribute/made negative contributions to the site, unlike the site, the channel is a rather temporary medium in which spam is inevitable.
As for the "abuse of power" it seems that the only mentioned case of this has been shown to be at fault. Your argument that because devilesk told him to ban marine is meaningless, as wether or not it was devilesk who informed merrell, marine was misbehaving.
Oh, and please, please, please, stop using analogies to america, rights, and civil wars. Using the forums/channel are a privilege, not a right, if you think its a right, then you obviously know very little about the world.
If you don't like it, don't use it, its as simple as that, any hope of someone live moderating the channel at all times is extremely misguided, as we simply don't have the manpower, or inclination.

Maybe for Dark_Marine, but.. there are still troublemakers in the channel who aren't banned because they are friends with the people at the top... Like devilesk..

Well, this being the 3rd thread about problems in the channel, people do care.
Spam is not accepted though, that's why he was banned.
Abuses of power would be more of not banning somebody, allowing them to do what they want because they are your friend.

When moderation is there, they do not always do what they should be doing. I don't think anybody expects live moderation, but the moderation that is there shouldn't be abusing power.

Finally, I'm not discussing Dark_marine's banning. It looks like he deserved it from the information given.

I am not in control of SEN (bot-wise). If what MrrLL posted above is fact (since I don't have any logs any more), then I would have (perma-)banned him. Devilesk has been banned as of now. He's banned here, he should be banned there.
