I was just wondering what people would do if it just happened to suck! I mean, I am waiting for SC: Ghost, then SC2 is also on the top of my list, but what would happen if it sucked. Like, the Campain sucks and the multiplayer sucks.

If it sucked, I would slap myself for not reading reviews before purchasing, then return it if I bought it from costco. But seeing as returning isn't an option, i'd just stop playing it until an expansion or BIG patch boosted it up.
And I seriously doubt blizzard will have anothe editor, they know that nobody makes maps. [/sarcasm]

Well I just thought that sc2 wouldn't run on .scm or .scx files, so it would probably have a new editor.

Maybe I'm just not paying enough attention to things, but I haven't seen a single reputable source giving ANY evidence that a SC2 is even in the works. Also, I have trouble imagining it bomb. Blizzard North puts a lot of time and continued effort in their games, trying to make everything work. I mean, they're still patching and supporting all of their games. That's commitment. People bash Blizzard constantly, especially around patch-time, and it pisses me off. If you hate Blizzard, don't play their games. Simple as that. People feel so cool and rebellious bad-mouthing Blizzard, but when it comes down to it, they do a damn fine job, and genuinely care about their games and customers. Also, it drives me crazy when people 
about the patches. They patch things to fix game imbalances, and prevent cheating on b.net. Yes, I was irritated when stacking was removed, but they did it for good reason, and I got over it. So please, people, give Blizzard credit for rocking.
P.S. - I know nobody here was Blizzard bashing, but I wanted to vent because a lot of people online do.

I think that Blizzard should listen to people from outside to prevent it from bombing. I mean, it could bomb if it doesn't offer enough new content (NOT STORY-WISE, because they always have something awsome there) and it is almost like the original.
Other than that, I bet it will be AWSOME!

I dont even think there is goona be a sc2.Blizzard seems to care about warcraft series more.But if sc2 came out and it sucked i would play something else.

Anyways, Blizzard cares about all their games. Right now, though, they're concentrating on the WC series, so cut the guys some break. They try and perfect each game they make (and have succeeded a couple times, too), so I'm sure they'll make an SC2 eventually, and I bet it'll rock.

It would be VERY tough to top a game as good and balanced as this. But hey, cant blame them for trying, and Ill try to enjoy whatever they make of SC2. What IS there to do? Im gonna be in college in a year, so I wont exactly be affected much by the releases of games, but it would be very nice to know that the game didnt suck.

Than if the media goes "Oh, SC2's graphic engine looks 2 much like W3" or something, than they'll just rebuild SC2 for another year or so.

I agree...none of the games made by blizzard have bombed. they all rock!!! If sc2 does bomb, i would probably just complain to them and spam emails saying they should rm the damn thing!!!
