I need to see a price tag. My iPod broke and the local apple store is filled with fags who won't help me. So I have no music player. Sound card broke so speakers are useless. And my CD player won't read CD's.

Can't hook up the speakers to your motherboard?

I sort of figured it. MP3 players are the new fad, everybody is getting them =\

Thats pretty saweet, I cam as close as you can come to buying a iPod without buying one, because I was always the person to be the first person to buy everything really technical because I am very tech savvy but I just didnt need one that much, I may get this though, I like Microsoft Products!

I never got an MP3 player. My computer has all my music and I burned most of it to CDs.

I despise Microsoft with all of my soul. It seems to me that their products have no concept of user interface and are as likely as not to crash. The ironic bit is that I still use Windows and Word...</off topic>

Microsoft is just one of a long line of companies lowering quality and beefing up big business.

They are the McDonalds of the computing business.

Of course, you're a Windows user, and you're able to do everything on your computer that you would like to do, right?

I mean, if you want to spend extra money, go get a Mac! Even though you'll probably just install Windows OS on it and use Windows on it anyway!

It's crap. It doesn't matter if it works, it's subpar. It could be faster, safer, and generally better, but it's cheaper to make a mediocre product. I don't want a Mac (well, it'd be nice), I want a better Windows.

The business model of companies like Wal-Mart, McDonalds, and Microsoft is this:

Consume all competition. Once all higher standard business is gone, cheapen quality to the lowest possible. Sell huge amounts because there's no alternative to your product.

Why do you defend this company like this, Deathawk? Are you Steve Ballmer in disguise?

No, My computer is in this wierd cabinet. It's hard enough to pull it out far enough to plug stuff into the back, so I have no chance of getting it into the motherboard.

That, and I don't know how to.

There are many mp3 players that are up to par with ipod allready. I dont think it will come close to "killing" the ipod.

Since you seem to think Windows can be faster and more safe, please tell me what can be done.

ANYWAY...

Considering Microsoft patches tons of vulnerabillities, and sends out updates all the time, I don't think they're trying to make their product unsafe. Speed comes from hardware too, you know. How else can you improve Windows to make it "generally better".. MAKE IT EVEN EASIER TO USE?

May I ask what your computer specs are? Please don't tell me you're complaining about Windows being too slow while running a P3 smile1.gif

There is an alternative to Windows, it's called Linux, and that's free. And there is always Mac, too. (And a bunch of other OS's not really worth mentioning.)

Creative is already an iPod killer. Do we really need to bring iPod back and kill it again?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by T-MaStAA on 2006-07-29 at 18:39:43
The thing with Ipod is that people are stupid. Instead of buying much better Creative mp3 players, they go with the fads..

I would keep it simple and say if you have a PC go with the ZEN and if your a MAC user go with the iPod...
Microsofts is getting just too late for reasonable competition. They'd really have to work some magic to get in the game now.

If its better than the iPod, its too expensive for me. I have an old school 128mb mp3 player.
