Every time I run StarForge, I can edit triggers and stuff, BUT when I get to editing wait times, StarForge crashes on me. It displays this:
Runtime Error "9" Subscript out of range. Is there anything I can do to solve this?
Hm... wierd problem. Have you tried reinstalling? Sometimes a simple thing like that will do it. If that doesn't work, I'd just recommend editing your wait times in a different editor. Sorry I couldn't be much help, man. I do strongly suggest you reinstall, though.
Well...thanks anyways...I'm too lazy to reinstall

This happens to me to. It normally happens when I open a map I made in SCXE and then try to change things, like P2 to P12.
this occurs when you do something that sf cant handle... for instance:
Adding a color to text (without the cursor being anywhere to place it)
I'm not sure why but the same thing happens to me when i delete a location then press "undo." Don't know how to fix it..
runtiem subscript thing happens to me too, it sucks bc i cannot chaneg my players in sf anymore, only terrain.
You could try to download SF 2.1 (leaked version). Find a link to a french site where it is hosted on blizzforums, in the custom maps section in a "StarForge" sticky thread.

I found it!!! Anyways....updates are:

It is accurate if you use no more than one overlapping mark. Best way to overlap is as follows:
[color]text-back{right-align}[color]text-front{invisible color character}{spaces, commas, and semicolons}
Elements in [square brackets] are optional, {curly braces} are required. A semicolon is one less pixel than a space, and a comma is one less pixel than that. Using a combination of them will allow you to get your overlap perfect to the pixel, and the invisible char ensures that they won't be seen. Be sure to resize the window if you use the right-align mark. The SC screen is 800 pixels wide, and this full width is not shown in the default window size.
Another major fix in 2.1 was a vastly faster minimap. There was a runtime error 9 in the trigger editor that was fixed too, and I think that's about it.
A nice feature (might have been in 2.0, can't remember) is double-clicking on items in the usage list in the string editor takes you to the appropriate editor. For example, double-clicking on a unit name opens unit settings, double clicking on a display text message opens the trigger that the string is used in.
The site for the download is
http://www.team-oz.com/goodies/progz.php3Scroll down until you see something named "StarForge 1.88"
Keep in mind that this only fixes the subscript error in the trigger editor, nowhere else.
Undo/Redo aren't functional yet. I know sometimes it's a habit to hit them, but they're not supposed to do anything.
Yes everytime on starforge i am so used to pressing ctrl Z although i know nothing is gonna happen. Sort of habit...

Hahaha, it happen to me too. I paste the wrong terrain, hit cntr+z, sh*t! and I need to remake all the isometrical terrain xD
Sf 2.1 doesnt seem to fix the problem for me. btw the link is broken.
how did u get it if the link is broken eh?
I think Starforge is only good for making sprites (I find)

I don't use it for anything else. I usually use SCMDraft to make terrain.
So umm, no one mentioned how to fix the problem. other than to reinstall on use 2.1 which both doesnt work.
There is no solution. Read the technical support forum.
