Judo is the number one most practiced Martial Arts. It is a fact that it is the 2nd most popular played sport in the world. It is similar to wrestling but has more throws. In addition, it has chokes, arm bars, and unique pins. Most people in a street fight would not suspect a throw coming. Matches in tournaments are won by achieving a full point by doing one of the above.
I myself have placed in 3 Judo National Tournaments. A pretty large feat considering the popularity and number of participants in my divisions. Judo is a fun sport and I hope you have at least learned something about a uncommonly known about sport in the U.S.
If you have any questions regarding Judo ask them and I'll try my best to answer them.

When I was small I used to take Judo classes after school. When I left the school I quit it and never took any more classes. I got second place in a tournament before, the guy I had to face twice got gold

Sound like you only had two people in your division, which makes it sound like it could have been a smaller white belt tournament which is okay. The "National Tournaments" are the largest tournaments the U.S. hosts for its own citizens. In all I've probably been in 30-40 tournaments.

You know what martial artistists never expect? A streetfighter that invented his own martial stance/style.

Judo isnt that good. You leave many spots open so someone can just punch you in the chin and GG your knocked out
Or when they drag you to the floor, your defenceless.

No, it actually had a lot of people, I faced the same guy in the finals I lost to him in the beginning and lost in finals. It wasn't a white belt by the way. Mine was not a national tournament, I don't even remember what it is, it's been so long.

I used to take karate back in elementary school, the funny thing is I won a tournament by kicking everysingle opponent in the testicles, that was until I faced a female who did this 1 hit thing and knocked the wind outta me and I lost. Then when I tried out for my orange belt I didnt get it so I quit. Yea I was a female dog back then.

I took Tae Kwon Do for about 9 years or so, not Judo though. I'm probably too lazy to try anything else though.

ability = strength^e + exp
I practiced taekwon do. I had to learn in a school whos goals was to get as many 8 yr olds in and milk them for all there worth and make them a black belt in less then 2 yrs. But i took it seriously so i still got something out of it. It costs $400 to graduate to a black belt, so when we told him we would have to hold it off a month or 2 for the money, hes cursed us out and told us never to come back(me n my bro). My wealthier best friend took judo(more exotic/expensive) so we would show eachother what we could do. when we played by the no puching/kicking rules he won hands down everytime. But more we fought the more we realized one thing. If you can master the head-lock, most baisc move of all, you will win. I am REALLY good at it now, and when I fight its all i go for(when ur skinny they hurt even more). of course our other friend who barely practiced boxing can kick both of our asses.

You should see the fighting that me and my friend employ for our fight club matches, kicking backwards very powerfully and scissor holds on the head. One time we both got each others head between our legs and we were punching in the hips to try and get out. It almost knocked me out from lack of blood flow.
