Arrr, me just dont like splinter cell, tis' just not my type o' game, bein' all tactical and stealthy...Nah i'd rather play Wc3 or some other game Gar

The graphics DO look awesome. Too bad I won't waste days playing this one though, </3 Xbox360. Well maybe I'll rent a 360 and it... Screw this, I jsut want to be an urban ninja.

Ehh, good graphics make games not really seem like 'games' anymore. Anyways, I aint shelling out $800 for this game, a 360, and an extra controller for multiplayer. 360 = overpriced poo.

800 bucks what you smoking, it will be only around 400, and soon the 360 price is dropping... now looking at the ps3 thats over priced... And good graphics makes games good, and becuase its done by Ubisoft im pretty sure its going to be great. Ghost Reacon is a awesome game, and i expect the same for splinter cell.

Microsoft has already announced that they won't drop the price just because the PS3 is coming out. A price drop won't come soon, so don't keep saying it will.

I've never tried the Splinter Cell multiplayers, but they look fun.

Well, once the PS3 comes out, the 360 will rise to about $800. Microsoft is trying to ruin the competition by gettin everyone into the 360 by rushing it and releasing for waht they call 'cheap' - $400 (around). But in reality, microsoft (aka. Bill Gates) is actually losing around $50 for every 360 console a consumer purchases. Like referring to rushing the 360, it doesn't even have a goddamn fan. My friends CD melted in the drive (literally). Food for thought.

Ill game because im a splintercell fanboy

But things to mention about the multiplayer that makes this game apeal to alot more casual non-hardcore gamers is the fact that the mercs are now in a way becoming to overpowered... Im afraid Ubisoft will freak this up like they did to the Rainbowsix series with lockdown.

-Mercs now have their controls viberate when a spy is near
-When spies stand up and run a white line apears around them
-The game speed looks like its SUPER fast and they run so fast.

Overall: I think it is still going to be a fun game... but it WILL be different from the rest and you have to give Ubisoft props for trying new things with their games and making mistakes, but at least trying and not just improving the graphics.

And they dont loose only 50 per console they loose a lot more, and also another thing is all new console usally loose money per console sell expect for nintendo. And Microsoft put in the basic stuff needed for the console, we dont need extra disk space or what so ever. And upgrading your game console is definatly the last thing I want to hear. They already said they will have a few dozen other versions pretty much. Confusing the customers yep they got it right

The 360 has two fans actually. http://www.anandtech.com/systems/showdoc.aspx?i=2610&p=7 How can you build a machine and not give it a fan? It would over heat so amazingly fast.
