Story behind this:

A few months ago there was that night. I was on Battle.net and joined a game called Income Defense.

At the first moment I was a little confused as I built bunkers but they didn't seem to fire at all. Then I found out that you can choose from alot of bunker setups and I was pretty impressed.

Then I played that map with those guys for like 1 hour (with wins and losses and remakes).

But soon they left and went to bed and I was like no, I can't stop playing this right now. nono.gif

So I opened and played the game for another few hours experiencing one of the best maps (imho) I've played so far.


After alot of plays in a row I had an idea lightbulb.gif

I was so excited about it w00t.gif

That's where I decided. Dude if you have time soon you need to learn ums mapping or you're completely wasted with a possibly good idea.

I searched the Internet and soon found SEN. But back then I had no time so I said to myself just wait for the right moment.

Well actually I'm here and I did some tutorials and testmaps and I decided to contact Oo.Vic.oO to ask him if I could possibly change his map.

He was very cool and sayd do what you want if you give proper credit. So, well I was like uberwoot.gif right there.

The idea:

It's so simple but yet it wasn't too easy to make for me because I'm actually new to mapping.

It's about adding another line of units you can choose from that's all what it's about but back then when I played that much I thought this could probably improve the game alot. (No, not that it's bad it's awesome already).


The making:

Once Oo.Vic.oO gave his yeah why not. I started doing it and I didn't stop mapping for like 12 hours. I triggered around alot and added some space for the new row of units. That's pretty much it but I'm a slow mapper actually that's why it took me around 12 hours.

Well, I learned alot doing this.


So what more could I tell you? Try it out if you got some time.

CHANGES FROM 0.9 to 1.0:

-Few Bugfixes
-Rebalancing a few units
-Set Upgrade Limit from 255 to 120 (or games would become endless easily)
-Disabled burrowing (Lurker burrowed when attacked)
-Removed the lifes I added in version 0.9 (to shorten the game again)
